This is a brand new Baby Handbag die cut card with bespoke circle,  launched on Saturday at the Whichcraftuk 10 year celebration day.
What an amazing day thank you to all who attended.

Different ways to fold it.

The crew had a choice of images,  I adore peonies so my choice was easy.
I coloured it with copics R20 R22 R24 Y21 G000 B000 G20 G21
I printed it again onto copy paper and cut out the jar then put repostionable glue on the back so I could mask the area around the jar then airbrushed it with B000 then added G000 from the pen. Apart from having a play this is my first project with the air brush.
The paper and sentiment is from The Rose Garden pad from Papermania and the ribbon and pearls from
The Hobby House. The  die cut scroll was made using my new Marianne design creatables.

Autumn or Fall

Hi back again today as promised,
Before I get to the challenge I just want to say a BIG HELLO to lovely Betty.
She hasn't got a blog but I know she reads  mine, and to say thank you... we had a lovely chat at the GNPE show in Harrogate on Sunday.

I can't believe it  'where has this year gone'... it's autumn already.
A lovely time... nature is full of beautiful colours at this time of year.

Our new challenge for this fortnight at Creative Card Crew is....

                              AUTUMN OR FALL

Our sponsor  is Sassy Cheryl who generously  gave the team some wonderful images to work with.

Other challenges to have fun with..
PaperPlay ~ Autumn
Sassy Cheryl's ~ to use a spellbinders die cut
Allsorts ~ colours of autumn
Crafty Sentiments to use a digi image

This is my DT card

I suppose over here we only use pumpkin to make halloween lanterns.
Last year I made a gorgeous cake (a bit like carrot cake) with the pumpkin flesh.
I've added  a link here for the recipe if you want to try it.

If you've not noticed check out my side bar and see if you can help my daughter and Asthma UK.

Thanks for stopping by,

Would you like to help!!

Hi lovely friends,

No card on this post but I will be back later today with our new challenge at Creative Card Crew.

Do you, or someone in your family suffer from Asthma, if so then you'll appreciate how it affects everyday life.
Sadly quite a few members of our family suffer from Asthma, my lovely daughter and grandson (her son) do,  that's why Claire has chosen this charity to run for on Sunday in the Great North Run.

Her dad has run the race for the last 21 years,  she used to say he was mad, but last year she came as a spectator and was so moved she made a pledge to run in the next race.

I know she won't mind me telling you that over the last 2 years she has gone down from 17 stone and dispite Asthma really loves to run now.

She was training well up to a few weeks ago but then had an injury. She was leading her partners horse out of the field when he stood on her foot and broke her second toe OUCH!!!!!
She was more upset that she would be out of the race, and has only been able to run again last week.
As she won't be able to run at her dads pace as planned he will but staying at her pace for support.

That's why I wanted to share her story with you, i'm bursting with pride that she is still going to  do the race even as she says...  'If I have to walk all the way'....
She has nearly reached half way with her sponsorship so if anyone could sponsor her that would be fantastic... please click her photo on my side bar.
if that's not possible maybe you could put her picture and link to the giving site on your blog.

If you can help in either way please come back and leave me a comment.

Thank you so much for listening, i'll post some pics and let you know how she gets on.

Teddy Stampers # back to school

Hi lovely blogging friends...how ya doing,

Another back to school project this time for our challenge over at Teddy Stampers.
We would love you to join in the fun with our 'back to school' theme.
Don't forget you must have a stamped or digi stamp bear on your project.
For more inspiration check out my lovely team members, links on my sidebar

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Deedees digis

Other challenges to have fun with:
Just Cute Bears ~ Lets get dotty
A Spoonful of sugar ~ Animal on your project
Tuesday Taggers ~ Books
Crazy 4 Challenges ~ Books

This is my DT creation a bookmark.
The cutie bear is a digi image from Di's digi downlods     ..... check out Di's freebies
 copics used bear, apple and book R00 R20 R22 R24 E30
G20 G21 pencil and book E30 E33 E35 and a white souffle sakura pen for highlights.
Paper is from a 'Love pack' from Papermania and black card and bazzill from my stash.
The cord from Hobbycraft started out beige and I coloured it with R22 copic
Beads and dome stickers are from my stash. I've had them for so long I can't remember where I got them,
The beads were already coloured.

I also made a backpack to match.

You can download the template and tutorial Here cute eh!!
I had a play with shrink plastic, don't ya just love it... great fun!!!!
It didn't work printing a large image on the computer although I had read on someones blog that you can do it.
The ink was getting onto the copic marker ARRRAH.
So I traced my original image onto frosted shrink plastic with a pen from Stampin' Up and coloured it with pencils, the colour gets stronger when it's heated.
If you leave a small border around your image you can add a hole before you heat it.
Next time I think i'll use thinner card for the backpack as the bazzill's a bit too stiff.

Hope you'll join in the fun, thanks for stopping by.
