Punch it # Creative Card Crew

Hi crafty friends,

Welcome to a new challenge with Creative Card Crew.

                            PUNCH IT

We'd like to see how creative you can be with your PUNCHES.
The choice is yours any topic as long as you have punchies on.

Our generous sponsor is Fred She Said

My DTcard

You wouldn't believe the trouble I had to get a good photo. I thought great it's a sunny morning but it came out too light. I must have tried to take a photo in 4 different rooms arrah!!! and ended up using the stairs and it's still not brilliant, which is such a shame as it's so sparkley and bright.

I'd like to say thanks to Pam for showing me this lovely card shape.
I don't know if it has a name other than an easel card.
It's a basic 5 3/4" square card scored across the middle. Then I penciled a line across the other way and lined up a square nestability where all the corners met the lines to cut out a square center.
Use the next size scallop nesty to mount  your image and the bottom corner sits inside at the front.
The opposite point is on a foam pad. I made the little boy a pop up.
I punched the borders with an EK punch and went around them with crystal glitter.
The gorgeous digi images are from our generous sponsor, Emma the snow angel and Catchin' flakes.
Coloured with Copics:
Skin, E000 E00 E20
Hair E31 E33
Clothes R81 RV32 BG10 BG15 BG32
Snow and shadows BG000 B00
Papers from the Daisy and Dandilion 'Penelope and Percy' pad
Charm from  The Hobby House Crafts

Elegant Christmas

Hi Friends,

I'd like to say hi to the Rossington craft club, we had a fab time on Tuesday thanks ladies for making me so welcome.
This one of  cards I created for them, quite simple but elegant.
Thanks Jac for all your help mwah!!

I'd like to enter a couple of challenges
Bah Humbug ~ Elegance
Frosted Designs ~ lets see your die cuts

The photo is a little lighter... the colours are richer.
It's really difficult to get good photos on these dark dull days.
An A6 cream base card with gold mirri card,  with a victorian border.
I cut the letters on my Cricut with the winter woodland cartridge.
A small Marianne Design poinsettia flower, and ribbon from my stash.

A quick and easy Christmas card, and not a copic marker in sight.

Thanks for stopping by,

My DT card

A view from the side

This is my first side easel card something different don't ya think.
You make it the same just score two lines which gives you a flat piece of card to mount your image on.
I've used the gorgeous Lili of the Valley James bear, I think it's called balancing act,  I couldn't find it on their site.
Coloured with Copics E50 E30 R20 B14 with just a hint of E99, and B00 for the shadows,
I used a white souffle pen for the dots and crystal glitter.
DP is from the Daisy & Dandelion... 'Penelope & Percy' pack. This paper is soooo yummy and glittery, with some pale blue card from the Paper Mill
Martha Stewart snowflake border and edge punches with glitter card and gems from my stash
Marianne Designs Poinsettia large and small and added twinklets diamond dust on glossy accents.
The pearl brad and spacer are from The Hobby House Crafts.
I flattened the spacer between 2 pieces of chipboard and put it though my Big Shot

Advent Calendar Chest

Hi friends,
This is a long post you might need a cuppa.

I thought I would show you my creations using the new Molly Bloom stamps all available at Whichcraftuk.

Hop over to Clare's Blog the designer, for some wonderful inspiration and come and see her demoing at the Stamp Magic show, The Dome Doncaster.

My first creation is an Advent Calendar Chest.
Sorry for the rubbish photos the lightings not very good. I was rushing so I could deliver that day!!

I used the Match Box Template, also from Whichcraftuk, for the drawers and 3 pieces of Woodware
chip board.
Stamps used: Christmas Tree, Gingerbread Man, George as an Elf, Molly at Christmas, Molly with Tree Lights, Christmas Stocking, and part of Pile of Presents
Papers are by NitWit
I coloured the images with copics just too many to list.
The brads are from Dovecraft I coloured the red ones with a copic marker and added dots with a white gel pen , and also coloured the ribbon too with a green copic.
The numbers are peel offs which I also coloured pale blue with peel off markers.

Challenges I would like to have fun with,
Charisma Cardz ~ more than one fold
Crafty Creations ~ show a number
Papertake Weekly ~ 3 of a kind
A Spoonful of Sugar ~ Winter Wonderland
ABC Christmas Challenge ~ U for under the tree Gift or box
Pile it On ~ Things in 3's

The next one is a card using Whichcrafts handbag die cut card. I cut it in half long ways and joined it back together with a piece of dp on the front and the same cream card on the back.
It makes an A5 gate fold card.

Molly Bloom stamps used:
Patchwork Bed, Christmas Window, Bedtime Molly, George as an Elf and part of Pile of Presents.
NitWit paper again and coloured with copics
The sentiment is from the Woodware Christmas Sentiment clear set punched with SU oval and scallop oval punches.
I stamped 2 windows cut out the panes in one and added acetate for a 3D effect

The next 2 cards are using Whichcraft Elegant die cut step card

I had to take these  at the shop hence the background.
Molly Bloom stamps: Christmas Tree, and Christmas Stocking.
I stamped the tree using Versafine Olympia Green first then added Spanish Moss around the edges of the branches.
Then inked the trunk with momento cocoa and stamped it onto one of Paulas die cut scallop ovals.
I coloured in some of the branches and the trunk with a copic, and distressed the scallop edge with Victorian Velvert ink.
The pot was stamped on to dp and raised on pads
Sentiment as previous card.
Craftwork cards candy in christmas green.

Molly Bloom stamps used:
Molly as a tree angel, Christmas stocking. Pile of Presents,
DP NitWit
Sentiment as above

This one is using the Double Concertina step card

Molly Bloom stamps used:
Molly as a tree angel, Gingerbread man, Christmas Window and a couple of the presents from Pile of presents, coloured with copics
DP NitWit
Sentiment is a peel off

Well I think that's enough for now more to follow later.

Thanks for staying with me, have a fun weekend, i'm off to a workshop at Whichcraftuk now going to play with Penny Black stamps today whoohoo!!
