Annie's challenge

Thanks to you all for sharing some amazing creations over the last fortnight we love to visit your blogs.

It's Friday and time for another super challenge at Teddy Stampers.
This challenge was chosen by our very talented Annie...she would love you to use on your creation

A square, a circle, a rectangle an oval, use at  least 2 different shapes
Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Whiff of Joy Stamps
challenges I would like to share in:
Just Cute Bears ~ bear necessities ...clean and simple .....hope this is simple enough
Paper Play ~  anything goes

The card is taken from 2 angles so you can see the silver as the other angle looks grey.

I had a brilliant time playing with my sisters new toy. A hot foil print wizard
I stamped the LOTV 'christmas ted balancing act' onto printable tracing paper. Heat set it just to dry it quickly then put the special foil between the tracing paper and my card and drew the lines in with the pen like tool.

As you draw... slowly is best, the foil embosses onto the card. You can print any greeting on to the tracing paper with your computer or use as I did a stamped image. If you hop over to their site you can see all the info about it.
This was my second go, I missed some of the lines on my first one. I coloured his hat and the parcel bow
with a stardust gel pen.

The double sided DP is Christmas Jingle set from Stampin' Up which comes with self adhesive die cuts, borders and matching cardstock fabulous kit, from Victoria
The sentiment was ready done from Craftwork cards and mounted onto punched ovals using punches from Stampin' Up.

Thanks for stopping by have a fun weekend

Fairy tales

Hi hope you're having a fun weekend,

I had a fun workshop at Whichcraft yesterday making shaker cards using  Paula's new designer frames.
My card today is made using one of these frames and i'm going to enter
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge ~ Fairy Tales

This pretty image is 'fairy tale Tilda' with the 'kiss me' text from Magnolia, coloured with copics, and glittered wings.
I covered the frame with magnolia paper from the same collection.
Quite simple as I didn't want to cover the gorgeous paper up.
I used 3D tape around the inside of the frame to set the image inside and attached it to a card blank.
It's very easy to make it into a shaker card just by adding a piece of acetate to the window first.

Thank you  for stopping by and  for all the lovely compliments yesterday.
Have a fun creative week, hope the sun comes back!!!

Let's ink it up - DT call

Do you want to be involved in a new challenge blog
Do you love stamping

Let's ink it up challenge blog is starting in September and are looking for 6 DT members who love stamping. (no digi stamps allowed)
You've got from the 19th July to 8th August to apply.
Suzanne would like to see 3 creations showing your love of stamping.
Hop over for the full instructions.

This was my very first challenge entry and I was amazed to win the Double Dutch challenge,
hence the poor photo.
The image is Tilda and Edwin skating and coloured with copics then masked and added
Art Impressions stamps for the background scenes with Marvey La Plume markers.
The ruddolf is a stamp from do crafts I think also coloured with copics.

This was one of my favourite cards for my DT for Teddy Stampers.
Popcorn Bear and friend coloured with copics

Amazing even my photos are getting better, and a more resent one.
I picked this one because there's alot going on and the detail is quite small, and it's just a fun card.
I got top 3 with this card in The Crazy Challenge.
The stamp is from Do Crafts 'Go Green' and coloured with copics.

It's hard to choose just 3 but there you go, I hope Suzanne likes them... you never know...
 nothing ventured nothing gained.

Have a fun weekend, I off to Whichcraft tomorrow to a workshop for frames and shaker cards whoohoo!!

We have a new challenge over at Teddy Stampers. For this fortnight we have an open theme with a twist... to do an optional 2x2 challenge.
So whatever you use times it by 2. So you could use 2 images as I have, 2 buttons, ribbons, paper... you don't have to use them all.
Edit: if you do the 2x2 you will get an extra entry into the prize draw.
Just remember you must have a stamped or digi stamp bear on your creation.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Digital Delights.

Charisma cardz challenge is ~  pink

Digital Delights very kindly donated some digital images for this challenge, I chose to use the 'Girl Bear'
I thought for the 2x2 challenge I would use the image twice, I flipped the image so she is looking the opposite way, to make a card for the birth of twins.
I added another set to the page so I could decoupage their arms to hold the the sentiment.
Copic colours: E000 R20 V000 V12 RV000 RV02
The background was stamped with Fiskars baby clear stamps in pink pastel colorbox chalk ink.
Sentiments computer generated, paper from my stash.
Chicks from Martha Stewart punch.

Can't wait to see your creations!!
Hope you will join in the fun, thanks for stopping by,

Love My Teddy

Hello lovely people,

It's time to join in the fun with Teddy Stampers again, we loved all your creations and visiting your lovely blogs and hope you will join us again.
Our sponsor for this challenge is  Cornish Heritage Farms

For this fortnight our challenge is a little different.
To me, one of the most adorable sights... is a child hugging their favourite teddy especially beany ones where the legs and arms are all floppy, so with this in mind our challenge for this fornight is:
                            Love my Teddy.
What we would love to see... using your stamps or digi stamp images,
is where the teddy is not the main character.
So it could be hugging...playing...having tea with teddy.
Isn't this just the most adorable image ever, I love it so much I just had to show it off!!!

This is my DT creation... a decorated photo frame.
Other challenges i'll be joining are:

Papertake Weekly ~ stitches

Craftalicious ~ Cute

BasicGrey ~ photo inspiration

This is the frame by Papermania before I started it should be easy to read the size.

The side view
It has an aceate window that slides upwards out of the top.
The most important thing is the image. It's 'Sleepy Sage' from Mo's digital pencil.
The copic colours: hair E31 33 35   skin E0000 E000 R00   pyjamas E04 YG03
teddy G00 G20 E000 C1   background Y23 E000
DP is 'lemonade' by BasicGrey 3 different sheets
I used Pinflair book binding glue to stick the paper on and to glaze the frame and flowers
faux stitches with a fine liner pen for the patchwork effect.
Punches Martha Stewart doylie and ek success retro for the flowers
and pearl brads from The Hobby House

Check out my lovely teamies for some great inspiration.

Thanks for calling in, hope you have a fun in the sun weekend,

Love Cherie  //*.*\\

Gardening Forever

Hi, it's July 1st and another year older, yes it 's my Birthday today what's left of it.
Thank you to my fellow teamie Annie for the lovely card and to Lisa Jane  for the birthday wishes.
As I said to Lisa at 58 i'm getting ever nearer to 60 to want to shout about it.
I found out last night that Lisa's mum also celebrated her birthday today... she's still young at 83!!!
so maybe I should stop thinking about it.

I'm making some simple little cards with garden and flowers theme for a charity, here's one I made earlier as they say.
This one was inspired by Annie's card.

challenges to enter :
Creative card Crew ~ Easel Card
Everybody Art ~ Birthday
The Crazy challenge ~ Make it in an hour

My easel card is 4" x 4" and was really quick and enjoyable to make.
I bought 2 new stamp sets by Born to Shop/Docrafts called 'Go Green',
and an A5 pad of fabulous double sided papers to match.
The sentiment  on the circle is already part of the image.
Birthday Wishes sentiment is by woodware 'Sincere Salutations' set.
Ribbon and oval punches are from Stampin' Up
I coloured it with my copics.

Don't forget to check back tomorrow we have a gorgeous new challenge over at Teddy Stampers... you're going to love it!!!
