The good old red white and blue.

Hi friends and welcome to my lovely new followers it's such a pleasure to have you join us,

There's a new challenge for you over at Creative Card Crew.
For this week we'd like you to use

The Colours Of Your Country

So any creation the choice is up to you.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Digital Delights by Lou by Loo

I thought that Bryce in a Car would be perfect to use the colours  red white and blue

I took the inspiration to make a digi image in to a shaped card from the super talented Colette from

It's quite amazing how versatile quality digi images can be. I took this one up to 5" high at the tallest point and the same at the widest and the definition is still good.

It said stop on the sign, in my graphic package I put a white rectangle over the word and added
 Happy Birthday instead.
I  printed the image on all the colours in a light weight 160gsm card and cut out all the pieces, in the same way you would put a die cut together.

As I wanted it to be a one layer card I used pencils to colour his skin and hair as copics would have gone through. I did use  B60 to add some shading but forgot about the white areas. It has gone through a little.
I'm going to keep this one as a sample and next time print the back first.
I used 250gsm cardstock but if your printer won't take that weight you could stick the image to the front of an A5 card blank and cut around it.

On the side view you can see the back. If you look close the fold is just to the side of the card which lost part of the bumper but I added that as an extra piece if that makes sense.

Thanks for stopping by have a great day,

On your Wedding Day!!

A very good morning, whohoo sunshine again today!!!! and its the weekend,

I said whoohoo for sunshine on Wednesday when I had to take piccies of my card for this fortnights challenge over at Teddy Stampers. It makes life so much easier and photos so much better with natural light.
I get so frustrated when the photo doesn't look as good as the card.

Anyway rant over, thank you for so many gorgeous creations for our last challenge... you did us proud.
I'm sure you're going to love our new challenge as...

ANYTHING GOES

All we ask is you must have a stamped or digi stamp TEDDY on your creation to be in the random draw.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Elephantastic

As I could have any choice I thought it would be lovely to do a wedding card for my DT sample and used this gorgeous Popcorn bear image.

I stamped these sweeties in Momento cocoa ink and coloured them with the following copic markers:
Bears E50 E51   E41 E43 E44   Hat W1 W3 W5 R81  Veil E50 W1  Flowers R81 R83 R85

What a cutie!

Hi lovely friends hope you had a fun weekend,

I know I did, my lovely sister Jac, had been to stay for a few days. Postie brought me some scrummy stash on Friday,  so we got to play with some of the brand new stamps from Lily of the Valley and created this gorgeous little gift basket, thanks Jac for cutting the papers for me and decorating the inside, mwha X

If you would like to make one too, the template is by the wonderfully talented Randi Thorson she has some beautiful creations not to be missed.

This little cutie is 'Birthday Fairy' so pretty and a dream to colour.

The copics used: Skin E000 E00 R20 Hair E50 E53  Clothes B00 BG10 G20 G21 Y000
Wings B00 B32 BG10

I've  had the double sided DP for such a long time it's called Butterfly Bouquet and I used both sides.
Pearls and brads from The Hobbyhouse and ribbon from Hobbycraft
The scrummy flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

I used star dust stickles around the edges of the paper
and on the little fairy.

The basket opens on both sides.

Randi made hers with two acetate windows

I cut a small oval nestie to make the tag and the sentiment is from Woodware, 'Tiny Phrases' stamp set.
